Tutorial 4 - Street & Architectural Photography

All tutorials last approximately 1 hour and will commonly take place around Birmingham City Centre (however, alternative locations can be arranged - please email me to discuss this before purchase). After agreeing a mutually convenient time and date, we will meet up and after a brief intro, get straight into the tutorial.

All skill levels are welcome and chaperones are welcome to tag along if necessary. Before the tutorial, I will email you to understand your current skill level and see what equipment you are currently using - however, I will bring equipment anyway.

The tutorials are aimed at those who are just starting out or looking to improve their current photography skills. For more advanced or in-depth tuition, please contact me with your requirements and I will be happy to see how I can help.

Where and When?

Generally, I prefer to shoot around Birmingham City Centre as it offers a wide range of subject matter. However, please let me know prior to ordering if you wish to choose a different location. I am generally available weekends and evenings for tuition. However, they will be booked around other commitments so please specify your desired dates and I will do my best to be available at that time. 

Setting Expectations

I am confident that I can help beginner and 'hobbiest' photographers improve their skills. However the key to learning any skill is practice! Therefore, the tuition is aimed as more of a helping hand in the right direction and an insight into how I produce my images. After the initial sessions, I will be happy to answer any further questions you have via email or in additional sessions.

Safety

I am fully insured. However, I can not take responsibility for your personal safety or any damage to equipment. Please be mindful of trip-hazards etc. and I generally shoot in public places so safety should not be an issue. 

Chaperons and Groups

I am happy for individuals to be joined by a Chaperon. However, the tuition is aimed at the individual. I am happy to offer tuition to small groups of no-more-than three people. However, you will always get the most from individual one-to-one tuition.

Weather/Cancellations/Refunds

The tuition can happen in any weather, but I will do my best to plan for decent weather. I always try to plan to shoot at the 'Golden hour' - but I will explain more about this when the tuition is ordered. I can only accept cancellations with at least 24-hours notice. Refunds will be discussed on an individual basis but are generally not offered.
