2017 Calendar - Ross Jukes Photography

12.00

PLEASE NOTE - CALENDARS WILL BE POSTED w/c MONDAY 19 DECEMBER

Last year, I was asked several times if I would consider making a calendar. I was unsure about doing it but decided that if I did, I wanted to make it as good as possible. So I set about choosing images that I felt represented each month. Whether it was a fresh Spring day on Ludgate Street, a beautiful Summers sunset on Edgbaston Reservoir or a festive view along Cannon Street.

The process of creating the calendars themselves was more of a challenge than I expected. I wasn't satisfied with any of the 'templates' that I found for the calendar sheets so set about creating my own using my favoured font and laying out the page exactly how I wanted it. I took extra care to get the dates right and avoided putting my own birthday in (14th June for anyone that cares!).

After having the first mock-up made, I was really disappointed with the quality. Clearly choosing the right paper and printing style would have a huge impact! Several mock-ups later and I finally got the calendar to the standard that I would expect. Adding a thicker, laminated cover and a nicely weighted paper with a matte finish, the production cost soon shot up! However, I was determined to create something I would feel happy hanging in my own home.

The trickiest part was knowing how many to order, if I order 1000 they wold be considerably cheaper but I have no idea how many I will actually sell. So I decided to play it safe and just ordered 50 to start, so numbers are limited but if they sell well, I will order more!

I hope you enjoy the calendar and I am excited about having my work hanging in your home or office for the next 12 months. As ever, thank you for your support.

Postage and Packaging

The calendars are posted in a large envelope with a card liner to help protect the calendar. P&P costs £2.50 and will be posted first class. Due to the size and weight restrictions, I am only able to send one calendar per package so apologies in advance if you wished to order multiples and save money on P&P.
